Morning Glory Ministries is affiliated with the Texas Southwest 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. This jurisdiction, under the steady and visionary leadership of Bishop Shelton C. Rhodes, provides guidance and oversight to several ministries and churches in the region, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious operation in line with the greater Church’s objectives.
In this structure, Supt. Patterson plays a dual and pivotal role. Not only does he serve as the Bishop’s Administrative Assistant, providing crucial support and assistance to the Bishop, but he also takes on the responsibility of the Superintendent of the La Grange District. In the latter role, Supt. Patterson oversees the spiritual and administrative affairs of the district, making sure that the churches under his supervision are functioning effectively and staying true to the principles and mission of the Church of God In Christ Inc.
