Frederick Patterson

Pastor

An inspiration to all generations, Superintendent Frederick O’Neal Patterson Sr., is a servant leader dedicated to the practical and spiritual development of men, women, and youth. His Passion for worship and the Word of God has created a ministry of transformation for those who are in pursuit of truth. In 2004 he was appointed Pastor of the Morning Glory Church of God in Christ. Since that time, he and the congregation have purchased and burned the mortgage on their current facility. Pastor Patterson is leading a thriving congregation in the Austin TX area. They are moving forward to greater heights and experiencing the glory of God’s presence.

With God’s help and Pastor Patterson’s vision; the church continues to Perfect People, Impact Lives, and Walk in Destiny. Superintendent Patterson also worked faithfully in the LaGrange District under the leadership of Superintendent Charlie Phillips and Superintendent Elroy Darden, serving in many capacities to elevate and perfect the work of the ministry. Bishop S.E. Iglehart saw his tenacity, faithfulness, and excellence for leadership and ministry therefore appointing him Superintendent of the LaGrange District in April of 2017. Since the multiplication of the Texas Southwest Jurisdiction, he currently serves as the Superintendent of the LaGrange District and the Administrative Assistant to our Prelate, Bishop Shelton Craig Rhodes of the Texas Southwest 2ND Jurisdiction.

Superintendent Patterson’s crown of achievement thus far in his life has been marrying his beautiful wife of over 30 years, Elect Lady Missionary Lisa Patterson. They are the proud parents of one son Frederick O’Neal Patterson Jr. who has inherited his father’s gift of music. The sky's the limit for Morning Glory Church and the LaGrange District.
